Hi all! I've seen so many different tabs for this so I decided to set
everything straight by declaring that my version is correct and complete. The
'A' 'G' 'B' 'A(2)' 'F' and 'G(2)' chords are always done on a 12-string
acoustic throughout the whole song, while the 'B5' 'A5' 'F5' and 'G5' are
always electric. A note on the chorus; The powerchords ('B5' 'A5' 'F5'
and 'G5') are doubled by their full-chord equivalents ('B' 'A(2)' 'F' and
'G(2)') on acoustic. The Edge has some kind of pedal (Wah, phaser,
flange...''') going during the Intro and Rhy,. Fig. 2, but I don't know what
it is. Towards the end of the Intro, is sounds like the rhythm differs from
what I have tabbed, but it's just the pedal motion which makes it sound that
way. So without any further ado, here it is.....

transcription...sorry bud, but you've made a few mistakes.
The ever so famous intro guitar track is performed with
a Digitech Whammy-Wah pedal (the early version of the
GP-100). The main chord riff is actually simply the power
chords played as follows:
