Hello U2 lovers!! If you are a guitar player, you will surely appreciate the
files that I've produced. I've put together all of the files that are
hanging 'round the Net containing chords and tabs for U2's songs and made
them separate bye albums. Not all fo them are complete, but that depends on
you sending me corrections and additions so that others can enjoy them!
I've been on vacation the last couple of months, so these are the same
versions I posted on December (except for War 0.3, which was never posted, I
believe). All files have a name and a release number. Please distribute
them. I will try to update these files next week, as I have some upcoming
corrections:
(1) "Some days..." in Zooropa
(2) "Seconds" and "New Year's Day" in War
(3) Whatever gets to me before next Wednesday!
Enjoy and take care.

dislocated, suffocated
the land grows weary of it's own

ETwo hearts, beat as F#one
ETwo hearts beat as F#one
-OR-
G#mTwo hearts, beat as F#one
G#mTwo hearts, beat as F#one
I can't tell if G#m or E sounds better. It's probably a weird chord.
I also can't tell if the E should be played in the intro, (or
throughout the song for that matter). The rest of the song repeats in
almost the same manner.
*
"40"
This song is mainly alternating two chords, G to C or A to D. (In the
song, it's actually G# to C#, just like All I Want Is You) If you use
G to C, tune up a half tone, A to D, tune down a half tone.
Intro G, C, G, C

He Gbrought me right out of the pit, Cout of my reglade

In the howling wind comes a stinging rain
See it driving nails into souls on the tree of pain
From the firefly, a red orange glow
See the face of fear running scared in the valley below
Bullet the blue sky
Bullet the blue
In the locust wind comes a rattle and hum
Jacob wrestled the angel and the angel was overcome
Plant a demon seed, you raise a flower of fire
See them burning crosses, see the flames, higher and higher
Bullet the blue sky
Bullet the blue
Suit and tie comes up to me
His face red
Like a rose on a thorn bush
Like all the colours of a royal flush
Through the alleys of a quiet city street
Up the staircase to the first floor
We turn the key and slowly unlock the door
A man breathes deep into saxophone
Through the walls we hear the city graon
Outside is America
Outside is America

Running to Stand Still
------- -- ----- -----
D And so she woke up, woke up from Gwhere she was lying still, said I
Dgot to do something about where we're Ggoing.
DStep on a steam train, G step out of the driving rain, maybe
D run from the darkness in the niGght, singing
Aah, ah la la Cla de Gday
A ah la la Cla de Gday, ah la lDa de day G
Sweet the sin, but bitter the taste in my mouth.
I see seven towers, but I only see one way out.
You got to cry without weeping, talk without speaking,
scream without raising your voice, you know I took the poison,
from the poison stream, then I floated out of here, singing
ah, ah la la la de day
ah la la la de day, ah la la de day
oGooh, ooDoh, ooGoh
D She runs through the street with her eyes painted red
G under black belly of cloud in the rain
D in through the doorway she brings me
Gwhite gold and pearls, stolen from the sea, she is rDaging
she is raging, and the Gstorm blows up in her eyes, she will
A suffer the neCedle Gchill
A she's running to Cstand G Dstill G D G D
