Stay With Me - Keith Urban
Tabbed by: LillaMartin
E-mail: [email protected]
Tuning: Standard (Capo 2th fret)
This is the arrangement that Keith played after the oh so smooth audition
in american idol where Michael Simeon performed. The clip can be found here:

Capo as in all songs is depending on your own voice. Put to play along with
Keith and learn the tempo is good way to start at 2th fret.
The only hard part about this is that there is a pretty high tempo in the
plucking.
Chords used throughout the whole song is Em, C, and G. Looking like this:
e|--0-------3-----3----------------------------------------------------------|
B|--0-------3-----3----------------------------------------------------------|
G|--0-------0-----0----------------------------------------------------------|
D|--2-------2-----0----------------------------------------------------------|
A|--2-------3-----2----------------------------------------------------------|
E|--0-------------3----------------------------------------------------------|
So to the plucking! And it seriously is the same thing throughout the song.
So once you learn it its so easy to play and sing along with.
e|------------0----------------------3---------------------3-----------------|
B|---------------0----------------------3---------------------3--------------|
G|------------------0------------0---------0---------------------0-----------|
D|---------2-----------2------2---------------2---------0-----------0--------|
A|------2------------------3-------------------------2-----------------------|
E|---0--------------------------------------------3--------------------------|
To get back smooth to the Em Keith plays various licks and i added some of them
down here. The first one is prolly the easiest if you ask me! 🙂
e|----------------------------------------0-----------------------3----------|
B|-------------------------------------------0-----------------------3-------|
G|----------0------------0----------------------0-------------0---------0----|
D|-------0-----0------0-----0---------2-------------0------2---------------0-|
A|---------------------------------2--------------------3--------------------|
E|---3-------------2------------0--------------------------------------------|
e|------------3-----------------------0----------------------0---------------|
B|---------------3------------3----------3----------------------0------------|
G|------------------0------2----------------2----------------------0---------|
D|---------0------------0---------0------------0---------2------------2------|
A|------2---------------------------------------------2----------------------|
E|---3---------------------------------------------0-------------------------|
e|--------------3-----------------------3------------3p2p0-------------------|
B|-----------------3-----------------------3----------------3----------------|
G|--------0-----------0-----------------------0----------------2p0-----------|
D|-----2-----------------2---------0-------------0---0--------------4/2------|
A|--3---------------------------2--------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------3-----------------------------------------------|
My advice is to hold the first note a litle longer on ea chord. Before goes
on with the rest. You will get the hang of it!
As always! Have fun learning. Have anything to correct in this let me know.
