ROYALS - Lorde Tabbed by: mmcguire1095 Obviously, there's not really a literal bass guitar line in this song. I basically just took the bass notes from the chords and applied those. It still works nicely and sounds good though. It's really simple. It's pretty much the same for the entire song, mostly just groups of two notes held out. But as I said, the notes are really just the bass notes of the chords, so you can do whatever you really want as long as it fits the rhythm. This just seemed the most practical to me. Tuning: EADG Verse 1: I've never seen a diamond in the flesh... G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| D|-----Technically no bass here, but you can play an open D if you want------| A|---------------with the same type of pattern as above----------------------| E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Pre Chours: But every song's like gold teeth... Incredibly simple. Nothing to it really. As I said above, there's not really a technical bass part, so feel free to just use this as a guide and improvise with it. But this is just the basic structure of what the bass line would be. | / slide up | slide down | h hammer-on | p pull-off | ~ vibrato | + harmonic | x Mute note ===============================================================================
